It was an honor to be invited by Dave Cross to teach a 3 day workshop in Tampa, Florida a few months back. I love teaching what I'm so pationate about but the really cool part was that I got to meet some amazing people and photographers. Among them was the lovely Laurie Marie of Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Beauty tips - Lemon juice |

Lemon juice works great to lighten dark colored acne scars and freckles. The natural citric acid found in lemons helps to gently slough off the skin's top layer and expose fresh glowing skin. To use a lemon juice treatment, cleanse your skin then slice up a lemon and hold it to your face for around 10 minutes. It does sting a bit but nothing to worry about.

This week I had the pleasure of heading out to L.A. to photograph L.A. fashion weekend. Ill post pics soon but just wanted to share the rest of my few days in L.A.! I was grateful to my friend Brian who showed me around, as I had NO idea where anything was:) The fashion show was held at Sunset Gower Studios. After the show, we grabbed dinner in West L.A. at a little french restaurant, Cafe D' Etoile. The service and food were great but I loved getting to people watch by sitting outside. Although it was late, they had heaters built into the roof so we could be out in the nice weather and not get chilly. I definitely recommend this place if you are ever in the area!
The next day, after some much needed rest, I chilled out in a cafe while editing some of my photos. But I was happy to be working because I was simulatenously sipping a red velvet cappuccino! Thats right! Red velvet cappuccino! It was soooooo good! That was at a little cafe on Hollywood Blvd called Solar Y Cultura. Later that night, we had drinks at the W Hollywood after a bit of shopping of course! I got an amazing scarf (yes, Im from Boston and flew all the way to L.A. to get a scarf), we checked out a really cool bookstore and then off to Kabuki for dinner! (Great sushi!) And for desert, a short was took us to Solar De Cahuenga for cappuccinos and pumpkin spice lattes! One thing I will say that L.A. has over us.....bottemless mimosas! Its worth flying out for brunch alone!
So, first trip to L.A. and there was a fashion show, drinks, shopping and amazing food! Who could ask for more? :)

It was an absolute honor to be invited by Dave Cross to teach a 3 day workshop in Tampa, Florida a few months back. Wow! I came across this video clip and had to share. Its a real shame that this ad was pulled from TV for "too much skin." I think she's beautiful and not because of her size...because of her confidence! Confidence and loving yourself are two of the sexiest things, no matter what size you are. So for all you boudoir clients who may not feel sexy as you are or feel like only a size 0 can take part....you remember Ashley Graham! Thank you PIX News! |
